How to Create a Favorite Contact
A Favorite Contact is a record used to store frequently used signers for electronic signature. It comes with preconfigured data such as name, email, phone, authentication method, and role in the signing process. Favorite Contacts make sending envelopes faster, standardize signer information, and improve the organization of recurring signers.
Access the object in Salesforce
- In Lightning Experience, click the App Launcher (grid icon) and open the sign2.me app.
- Go to the Favorite Contacts tab, which corresponds to the configuration object.
Create a new record
- Click New to create a Favorite Contact record.
Complete the fields in the following order:
Fill out the Information section
Signer Name (required): Enter a name to the Favorite Contact.
Owner: Select the user who owns the Favorite Contact.
Signer Code: This field is automatically generated after saving the contact.
Phone: Add the signer’s phone number (for contact or authentication via SMS/WhatsApp).
CPF: Useful for identity validation in Brazilian contexts.
Email: Email address used to send the signature link.
Birthday: Enter the signer’s date of birth.
Fill out the Signature Information section
Language: Select the signer’s preferred language for communications and the signing interface.
Role (required): Define the signer’s role in the process (e.g., Signer, Approver, Witness).
Country: Enter the signer’s country of residence.
Authentication Type: Choose the authentication method(s) for verifying the signer’s identity (e.g., Email Token, SMS, WhatsApp).
Save
Click Save to apply the settings.
